Here is the episode synopsis of The Vampire Diaries Season 2 Episode 13 – Daddy Issues:Elena, Damon, and Jenna are surprised when Johnathan Gilbert returns to Mystic Falls. Caroline tells Stefan about her conversation with Tyler, and Stefan tries to help a confused Tyler. Jeremy consoles Bonnie after her upsetting conversation with Jonas. A violent situation breaks out after When Jules takes a hostage.
The scenes will show the comeback of Elena’s father, Johnathan Gilbert, one of Founding Families that hunted vampires along with Giuseppe Salvatore. But it seemed that Elena along with Jenna and Damon are not happy in the return of Jonathan. Jeremy comforts Bonnie after her disturbing conversation with Jonas and when Jules takes a hostage, the situation quickly escalates into a violent confrontation. Caroline on the other hand, is in trouble in Tyler’s hands as she lets Stefan know about her conversation with Tyler, and Stefan does his best to reach out to a confused and conflicted Tyler.
The upcoming episode will show the come back of Elena’s biological father John Gilbert (David Anders). John’s return comes as an unhappy surprise to Elena, Jenna and Damon. What he’s up to stay hidden though this is another side of the story that we should follow. Meanwhile, Caroline lets Stefan know about her conversation with Tyler, and Stefan does his best to reach out to a confused and conflicted Tyler.
