 Season ten of Smallville, an American television series, premiered on September 24, 2010 and will consist of 22 episodes. It will be the fifth and final season to air on the CW television network. The series recounts the early adventures of Kryptonian Clark Kent as he adjusts to life in the fictional town of Smallville, Kansas, during the years before he becomes Superman. Regular cast members during season ten currently include Tom Welling, Erica Durance, Justin Hartley, Cassidy Freeman, and Allison Mack.
The final season of the series, season ten plans to continue the romance first developed between Clark Kent and Lois Lane in season nine, as well as the continuation of Clark's trials, and the forging of his superhero identity "Superman". During its tenth season, Smallville will beat the Guinness World Record for longest consecutive running United States science fiction television show—currently held by Stargate SG-1.
Souders and Peterson revealed that the theme for season ten will be "facing the ghosts of your past and how [the effect of seeing the past] helps you move on in the future"; as such, the return of previous cast members will play into this. Souders and Peterson have also chosen not to erase Lois's memory of Clark's secret, something she discovered in the season nine finale. Instead, Lois will help Clark do what he needs to do to get away and fulfill his destiny without telling him that she knows.[39] The producers explained that there would be "some twists and turns" before Lois tells Clark that she knows. In June, Michael Ausiello confirmed that Tess Mercer will be "reincarnated next season", after having died in the season nine finale.  Initially helping Clark and Oliver at Watchtower, a secret from her past will define whether Tess ultimately ends on the side of good or bad.  Chloe's ending will also be told "in a way that's fitting for Chloe."  She will "sacrifice" herself for Oliver, who has been informed that she was killed. As a result, Oliver will spend much of the season looking for Chloe, trying to find who is behind her murder.  In addition, Oliver is "literally and figuratively stripped down to his bare essence" early on this season.

The Vampire Diaries is an American supernatural drama-horror television series developed by Kevin Williamson, based on the book series of the same name by L. J. Smith. The series follows the events in the town of Mystic Falls, Virginia, a fictional small town haunted by supernatural beings. The main focus of the series is the love triangle between the female protagonist Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) and two vampire brothers with dark pasts. Later the light is thrown on the mysterious past of the town revolving Elena's malevolent doppelgänger Katherine who seeks revenge against the town, the brothers and Elena.
The show initially received average reviews, but critics agreed that the series improved over the course of the season; the second season premiered to generally favorable reviews. The show has received numerous award nominations, winning a People's Choice Award and seven Teen Choice Awards. Dawn Ostroff has mentioned a spin-off that could possibly happen in a few years.

The series follows the life of Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), who falls for a century-old vampire named Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley). The series is set in the fictional town of Mystic Falls, Virginia, a town charged with supernatural history. Other story lines revolve around the other inhabitants of the town, most notably Elena's younger brother Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), Elena's best friend Bonnie (Katerina Graham), Elena's close friend, Caroline (Candice Accola) and Elena's childhood friend and ex-boyfriend, Matt (Zach Roerig). The town's politics are orchestrated by descendants of the original founding families, all comprising a "Founders' Council". Some of the founding families of Mystic Falls include the Salvatores, the Gilberts, the Fells, the Forbes and the Lockwoods. They guard the town mainly from vampires, but also creatures such as werewolves and witches, some of whom are themselves members of the Founders' Council.

The Panthers are preparing yet again for another game they can't afford to lose. This season Jimmy Iovine, chairman of the Interscope Geffen A&M Records group, the new partner of American Idol, will be the in-house mentor with no weekly guest mentor, with other significant changes promised. Nigel Lythgoe returned as executive producer.
Season ten was the first to include online auditions. Contestants could submit a 40 second video audition via Myspace, between September 15 and October 10, 2010. The rules are otherwise the same and the online auditions will be judged in a similar fashion to the live auditions.
The show will now air on Wednesday and Thursday nights, instead of Tuesday and Wednesday.

The season opens with Hank just out of jail on bond after being arrested for assault, Charlie notifies him of his new celebrity status after word got out he penned "Fucking and Punching." Hank goes home where Karen disowns him, then attends a meeting to discuss the film adaptation of his book, where he accepts the job of adapting the script himself. In the next scene Charlie sets up a meeting between Hank and an actress named Sasha Bingham, (Addison Timlin) to discuss the movie, they sleep together and reenact the now infamous punch scene from the pilot episode. Immediately following Hank getting knocked unconscious by Sasha, there is a dream sequence where Hank's fears of losing his family are clearly pronounced. The episode ends with Hank being arrested for statutory rape, only moments after the assault charges against him are dropped.
In June 2010, it was announced that Tommy Lee would guest-star in an episode as a singer.

Californication Season 4 Episode 3 entitled  “Home Sweet Home”, will be air on January 23, 2011. This episode will present Hank in a different kind of mood, as he tries to extract full benefit out of the misconception that he has attempted to commit suicide. So, he will be seen back at his home, where he will rejoin his close-knit family. But there is scope for problem-development, as his daughter knows the exact facts. On the other hand, Charlie will be seen directing his energy towards an odd goal, while a financially well-off producer will be seen trying to come close to Marcy.

Here is the episode synopsis: Hank is surprised and pleased when Karen invites him to stay with her upon his release from the hospital after his accidental overdose; Becca is invited to join a band composed of four teenage punks. Meanwhile, anxious over the delay in getting the film going, the producer (Stephen Tobolowsky) confronts Charlie at the Runkle Residence and leaves smitten with Marcy.

The tenth season of American Idol is scheduled to premiere on January 19, 2011, on Fox. This will be the first season for which 15 year-olds may audition. The show has undergone a number of changes since season nine, which include the reduction of the judging panel to just three judges (two of whom are new), a new executive producer and music director as well as multiple format changes. For the first time, Idol will air on Wednesdays and Thursdays as opposed to the previous schedule of Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Nigel Lythgoe returns to the senior production team as executive producer for the series. American singer Steven Tyler and American singer-actress Jennifer Lopez join the judging panel as replacements for Simon Cowell, Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi who all left at the end of season nine. Ray Chew replaces Rickey Minor as the show's musical director and leader of the Idol's live band. Universal Music Group has replaced Sony Music Entertainment, as Idol' official partner record label.
As a result one of Universal Music's executives Ron Fair, a songwriter and producer in his own right, was made in-house mentor to work with the contestants on a weekly basis. He will be supported by associated producers: Rodney Jerkins, Alex da Kid and Timbaland who will all help contestants tailor their song choices to their chosen genre of performance, as well as work in producing arrangements for the contestants and offering original material to be sung live. Other changes are set to include online voting and a Las Vegas round and judges' wild card contestants.

There are many changes in season 10 that we should look forward.
Simon Cowell, a judge from the start of the show announced on January 11, 2010, that he would not be returning as a judge for this season in order to focus on launching the American version of hit British singing competition The X Factor.  Ellen DeGeneres officially announced her departure on July 29, 2010, and judged only for one season, because she felt the show was not the “"right fit" for her.  Kara DioGuardi then announced on September 3, 2010, that she would also not return this season due to her pursuing new projects. On September 22, 2010, it was announced that Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler will join the judging panel.

Then beginning in November 2010, returning producer, Nigel Lythgoe, revealed that there would be other significant format changes. New challenges include "contests [having] to make the best music video, to promote themselves, and to work with a band and dancers for an awards show-style performance." Entertainment Weekly reported that the challenges would replace the traditional semi-finals portion of the competition meaning that finalists would go on top compete in the top-twelve for the live shows. However it was later revealed that the music videos challenge was only ever an idea but there were no plans to make it part of season ten of Idol. Entertainment Weekly reported further changes on January 4, 2011. The Hollywood round will return to narrow the contestants down to sixty potential finalists. Those who made the final sixty were then taken to Las Vegas where they were asked to sing songs from The Beatles. Forty contestants left the competition at the end of this round, before producers placed the remaining twenty contestants, in two groups of ten, before the American public, for a semi-final sudden death round to find ten finalists - five girls and five boys - for the live shows in the finals. Additionally, the judges have been given wild card picks.

Pretty Little Liars is a series of young adult novels by Sara Shepard.  Maci had aspirations to go away to college with her friends after she graduated high school. Her dreams are now on hold as she struggles to take care of Bentley, take online courses at the state college, and to keep her relationship with her fiance, Ryan, alive. She got a tattoo that says "bulletproof" on her right shoulder, as a symbol that she will remain the same person she has always been through adversity. Although a patient mother and fiance, Maci gets fed up with Ryan when he doesn't help her juggle parenthood, school, and work. Yet, they are faced with more challenges, which begins to strain their already rocky relationship. In the Season 1 finale, Ryan and Maci get back together. Maci said the reason she did the show was because she wanted to get a good message across and stated: "I really just wanted to show girls how hard it was to be a teen parent, I wanted girls who might get pregnant to see there are options out there to move forward with your life and still have goals.". She has gone back to college after dropping her online classes, and now is majoring in journalism and hopes to write a book about her experience being sixteen and pregnant. She also speaks at local high schools to talk about teen pregnancy. At the reunion, Maci and Ryan revealed they are still broken up, and Maci says she's focusing on Bentley and school.

The sixth season of How I Met Your Mother is showing signs that she hoped at this point.The first episode is certainly a vast improvement even if the second offer is a bit disappointing. Despite the fact that last season was far from ideal, I still love these characters and we look forward to seeing more of this story. It may not be perfect, but at least during this looks like out of a good start.
