This series of Fox hit reality musical follows three judges, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler, and Randy Jackson,
along with host Ryan Seacrest around the United States in search of the next American Idol, a pop star who really shines above all others. With help from the viewers, they decide to thousands of participants who will walk away with a recording contract and fame and fortune that is sure to come with her.
Every season premiere audition rounds in various cities, where hundreds of thousands of candidates may be selected by the judges. The audition episodes usually feature a mix of possible finalists, the most interesting candidates woefully inadequate. Each candidate receives a golden ticket to advance to the next round in Hollywood. Season ten was the first to include online auditions. Participants may submit an audition video via Myspace 40 seconds, between 15 of September and 10 of October 2010.
